The Diplomate in Oriental Medicine is board certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). This designation reflects the achievement of the highest standards of professional competence. Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine Licensure of Oriental Medicine permits the practitioner to prescribe herbal medicine in addition to the practice of acupuncture.
